Freely inspired by Sophocles' ancient Greek classic "Antigone", this dystopic film competed in the Directors' Fortnight section of the 23rd Cannes Film Festival. It transposes the myth to modern times, in a fictional country where reality is suspended, where youthful rebellion is brewing and Antigone faces an uncertain future.
